Feng Shui means wind and water

It is an old Chinese art and science of environmental study about the energies flowing around us and tells us how we can benefit from them.

It is a study based on common sense, rules and accurately analyzed formulas, giving us the potential of a house and its environment.
If we know how a place will affect us, we will be able to harmonize it to our benefit.

The energy, called Qi, moves with the wind and is retained by water, called Kuo Po. The ancient Chinese Feng Shui masters learned how to collect and direct the energy.

The principle of Feng Shui is to create an environment in harmony with nature, by not disturbing the equilibrium between them.
You will then benefit from: a well-balanced and harmonious place, able to bring you better health, wealth and good relationships.

The time factor is essential in every Feng Shui analysis.
Traditional Feng Shui takes care of the Universe’s changes in his formulas and interpretations.
It is logical and natural that nothing remains the same through all times. Everything changes gradually; we have to follow changes to be able to know what is right on each space of time.
The same way we use proper thicker clothes for winter and lighter clothes for summer, a good Feng Shui adviser will tell us the best way to decorate a place for the present and future. We will also be able to see how was the past of a place, through a good interpretation of the energies. This explains why the same place can be better or worse according to different periods of time.

The same way everything changes with time, the old Chinese formulas and teachings has to adapt to our modern living. In old days there were no high-rise buildings, no cars or airplanes. It would not be logical to follow strictly the old teachings. We adapt them to our present necessities without forgetting that the aim of Feng Shui, is to give good health, prosperity, success, harmony and good relationship to the people who live or work in a place.
